Valley Regency Wedding: Antonio & Alexis

June 4, 2018

Wedding at the Valley Regency for this wedding that went smoothly with no sort of hiccups. Starting out with the groomsmen who were ready for my arrival makes everything work much more efficiently for their day. After photographing the Tony and his guys I headed to the bridesmaids to photograph Alexis at her parents home. Lots of emotion on a wedding day naturally but it’s beautiful to see when a bride’s parents see their little girl dressed up for their first time in a wedding dress. The reality sets in when you see your own child single for the last time.

We set out to do the first look in Jersey City at The Empty Sky memorial at a vintage train station waiting area where the place provided beautiful soft light. Most wedding photos are taken at the memorial area so it was different to do a first look between the bride and groom in this area where it can provide you with a challenge due to the fact you have many tourist and visitors in the area but very fortunate that we had some privacy for this personal moment between these two.

After doing their first look and a few photographs in the area we headed back to Valley Regency for more photographs where I love photographing brides in the suite they have downstairs where it provides excellent light.

The Valley Regency in Clifton, NJ is a very classy venue which enables me to take many excellent photographs. The ballroom provides high ceilings and the newly renovated bridal suite where it provides beautiful window light with timeless furniture and decor to create beautiful images not to mention the outside garden. The venue provides photographers with many options to provide a bride and groom clean images.

Here are a few from their day…
