Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson Wedding: Matt & Sherifa

Wedding at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson with Matt & Sherifa. Two amazing folks that I had the pleasure of documenting their wedding of course. This was a wedding that actually my mom happened to put all of the wheels in place as she has a mutual friend with these lovely folks.
This story is truly a family affair and of much love. One of the few weddings I have ever done where there were practically no groomsmen or bridesmaids. There were, but they just happened to be their 5 kids. 5 wonderful kids I had the pleasure of working with. So well mannered and easy to photograph. See this is Matt & Sherifa’s second marriage. So their kids are from a previous marriage. They’ve known each other for a long time now, since their College days and happened to keep in touch or rather be in touch years down the road again and love blossomed from this beautiful friendship.
You can feel the love of this entire family which is very beautiful. You couldn’t even tell which kids belong to who, although now it’s official.
The Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson Wedding provided me with beautiful photographs of the NYC skyline. It was a bit windy but the altar still held up thankfully. Did a quick one on one session with Matt & Sherifa on the Hyatt grounds before heading in for the rest of the formalities.
