December wedding at the Westmount country club. Cold day but not as bad as I thought it would be for this indoor wedding between Christopher and Elizabeth. A low key but classic wedding.
After a few getting ready and detail photos we did a first look between the two. Elizabeth was able to handle the cold which I give her much credit for this because I was able to take some nice photographs of them on the grounds and a few when we went inside where Elizabeth really wanted a few photographs with Chris at the piano… this was a bit of a challenge because of the lack of light and I just didn’t want to take a flat photo of them, so I told Chris to play the piano for her and used my lights to create directional light to create some mood.
He told me he didn’t know how to play the piano so I told him that I’m pretty sure Elizabeth would like any tune or noise you’d play if it’s coming from you. Well, he did and I was able capture a few fun moments…
Emotional vows and speeches as the rest of the night continued after and was able to close it out with a photo outside where the holiday lights were lite up beautifully which this lovely couple enabled me to capture this beautiful photo of them and again took the cold…
